Joan Applebaum's artwork appearing in two new anthologies

Joan Applebaum had a busy summer in the North Country teaching and selling artwork.

She had two images selected for publication in Lun’Allure: to the Moon and More, an anthology celebrating the 50th Anniversary of Apollo 11. Her image “Night Flight” was selected for the cover.

She will also have a blog entry and artwork in The Brave, a Veterans Anthology slated for publication this fall.

Joan is the new Membership Chair for the Holly Branch NLAPW. She recently brought a CNY Penwomen tradition to Delaware by welcoming the newest member of the Holly Branch with a rose!
