Rachael Ikins' Art and Poetry Featured

Rachael Ikin’s artwork makes up front and back covers of the new literary journal Fly on the Wall, released July 2020. Ikins has had much success with publishing recently. In addition to Fly on the Wall, her work appeared in the pandemic journal from South Africa, five poems accepted in an anthology produced by Foot Hills and Just Poets, titled Civilization in Crisis.

Katzenworld in the United Kingdom recently published Ikin’s pen and ink illustration of one of her cats, part of a series of feline-themed artwork and writings. Just Poet’s publication Le Mot Juste also includes Rachael’s poetry.

A memoir excerpt about Rachael’s mother “The Hair Bow: Giving Back” appeared this past winter in a Houston based journal. Congratulations to our CNY Branch poet/artist Rachael Ikins.
